Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for allowing a control device to control a first device by using Bluetooth. According to the present invention, provided are a method and a device for: receiving, from the first device, an advertisement message including service information indicating whether to support a device control service; forming a Bluetooth LE connection with the first device when the first device supports the device control service; making a request to the first device for characteristic information, which is related to a controllable operation mode and procedure supported by the first device, and receiving the characteristic information so as to transmit a first write request message for making a request of the writing of a control characteristic for controlling a specific operation related to a pairing and a connection of the first device on the basis of the received characteristic information; and receiving a first write response message in response to the writing request message.
