Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for controlling an operating state of a wearable electronic device (100, 600). The method comprises: determining an attitude of a wearable electronic device (100, 600) (S310), the attitude comprising a static attitude and a moving attitude; and controlling the operating state of the wearable electronic device (100, 600) according to the attitude (S320). According to the method and apparatus for controlling an operating state of a wearable electronic device (100, 600), by monitoring the attitude of the wearable electronic device (100, 600) by means of gyro signals from a cell phone (530) and determining whether a user is using the wearable electronic device (100, 600), the operating state of the wearable electronic device (100, 600) can be determined without using an optical sensor, so that the manufacturing costs of the wearable electronic device (100, 600) are reduced.
