Abstract:

The present embodiments relate to a method and apparatus for controlling a paging operation, and provide a method by which a terminal performs a paging operation, the method comprising the steps of: receiving a paging message including identification information for each terminal for identifying a target to perform a paging operation; and determining whether to apply the paging message on the basis of the identification information.
