Abstract:

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for controlling a photographing device, a handheld gimbal, and a storage medium. According to the embodiments of the present invention, a motor of the handheld gimbal is connected to a zoom ring of the photographing device, so that the motor drives the zoom ring to rotate during the rotation process to control the photographing device to zoom. In addition, the handheld gimbal controls the photographing device to follow focus in a manner of sending a follow focus control command to the photographing device by means of a control line, that is to say, the handheld gimbal can control the photographing device to follow focus by means of line control, without the need for another motor to drive a follow focus ring of the photographing device to rotate to control the photographing device to follow focus, so that the handheld gimbal can control the photographing device to zoom and follow focus when only one motor is needed, and the load of the handheld gimbal is reduced, thereby facilitating controlling the handheld gimbal by a user.
