A method and an apparatus for controlling power on/off of a power outlet, and a power outlet. The method procedure comprises: monitoring whether a control signal for controlling the turning-on or turning-off of an electronic device is received (S101); when the control signal is monitored, decoding the control signal to output a level signal (S102); controlling, according to the level signal of the decoding result, a relay circuit to disconnect from or connect to an AC power (S103). The control method can monitor the control signal for turning on or turning off the electronic device, and when the control signal is monitored, directly control the power outlet to disconnect from or connect to the AC power, and can perform a delay processing when disconnected from the AC power, to reserve sufficient time for the electronic device to store data during turning off, effectively protecting a data storage function of the electronic equipment during turning off, avoiding the data confusion caused by a sudden power down during the turning off of the electronic device.
