Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for controlling a power source of a display screen, and a storage medium and an electronic device, wherein same are applied to a TFT type display screen. The TFT type display screen comprises a drive chip and a screen body, wherein the drive chip is used for controlling the screen body, such that same displays a corresponding image, and the screen body uses a thin film transistor to control pixels. The method comprises: after receiving a starting signal, controlling a power source of a drive chip, such that same is electrified according to a set rule so as to reduce the probability of an abnormality occurring in the voltage output by the drive chip; and continuing to normally supply power to the drive chip. Since the power source of the drive chip directly determines the performance of the voltage output by the drive chip to the screen body, and a fluctuation condition tends to occur when the power source is just electrified, the quality of the voltage output by the drive chip can be improved by means of improving the electrification condition of the drive chip, thereby reducing the probability of a black screen occurring in the screen body and improving the display performance of the display screen.
