Abstract:
The electronic device comprises one or more processors, one or more RF circuits, and a plurality of antennas, wherein the one or more processors are configured to: control at least some of the one or more RF circuits so that one or more first RF signals having one or more first transmission powers set on the basis of first threshold transmission power corresponding to a first antenna from among the plurality of antennas are applied to the first antenna during a first period; identify, on the basis that a first accumulated SAR during the first period corresponding to the one or more first RF signals satisfies a back-off condition set for a designated time duration, a second antenna for transmitting an RF signal from among the plurality of antennas; identify a second period during which transmission is possible with a second threshold transmission power corresponding to the second antenna, set on the basis of an accumulated SAR threshold; identify a non-transmission period during which the back-off of threshold transmission power is not requested, and which is set on the basis of the first threshold transmission power and a SAR residual amount obtained by subtracting, from the accumulated SAR threshold, the first accumulated SAR during the first period; and control at least some of the one or more RF circuits so that one or more second RF signals having one or more second transmission powers set on the basis of second threshold transmission power corresponding to the second antenna is applied to the second antenna during the shorter of periods between the second period and the non-transmission period.
