Abstract:
The present application provides a method and apparatus for controlling a wearable device. The method comprises: in a process in which a terminal and a wearable device connected to the terminal synchronously play first multimedia data, detecting a vibration mark in the first multimedia data; and if the vibration mark is detected in the first multimedia data, sending a vibration instruction to the wearable device, so that the wearable device vibrates according to the vibration instruction. In the technical solution of the present application, when a vibration mark is detected in first multimedia data, a vibration instruction is sent to a wearable device, so that the wearable device can vibrate; accordingly the wearable device can output a vibration signal while the multimedia data is outputted, thereby improving the diversity of outputted signals of the wearable device.
