Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONVEYING MEMBERS TO BE INSPECTED
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1991/011377
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Such a structure is adopted that the core members of a conveying belt are formed of rigid thin wire materials, portions of communicating holes for establishing communication between the inner and outer surfaces between the thin wire materials are blocked by a plurality of seal bands annularly arranged in the direction of the movement of the conveying belt, and the members to be inspected which are seated over seal bands adjacent to and spaced apart from each other are sucked from the inner surface side of the belt by negative pressure introduced by a sucking means through the communicating holes, whereby the inspection is conducted while the members to be inspected are being conveyed, so that the members to be inspected which are supplied at an optional interval can be conveyed in a stabilized state by a predetermined force and moved to a conveying apparatus in the succeeding stage with the front and rear surfaces of the members to be inspected being inverted.
