Abstract:
The present invention discloses an apparatus for detecting damage of a separator. An apparatus for detecting a separator according to one aspect of the present invention is an apparatus for detecting damage of a separator, which detects whether a separator of a secondary battery is damaged by applying a voltage while pressurizing an electrode assembly formed of a stack structure of a positive electrode plate, a separator, and a negative electrode plate, and inducing a temporary short circuit between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate. The apparatus for detecting a separator may comprise: a short circuit measuring unit for applying a voltage to the electrode assembly and sensing a leakage current; and a pressurizing jig provided to pressurize, in a rolling manner, at least one surface of the electrode assembly or to sequentially pressurize a predetermined region of the at least one surface of the electrode assembly.
