Abstract:
A warp breakage detecting method being applied to a fluid injection weaving machine where a plurality of warps are inserted into a warp opening simultaneously. The warp breakage detecting method is characterized in that the arriving timing of a warp is measured through a warp sensor disposed in a warp moving passage, the measured arriving timing is compared with a reference timing, and thread breakage is detected when such a state that the arriving timing is earlier than the reference timing occurs a specified number of times continuously.
