Abstract:
The present application discloses a method and apparatus for detection and tracking, a device, a storage medium, and a computer program product and relates to the field of video processing. The method comprises: performing feature point analysis with respect to a video frame series to produce a feature point of each video frame in the video frame series; performing target detection, on the basis of the feature point, with respect to an extracted frame via a first thread to produce a target box in the extracted frame, which is a video frame extracted from the video frame series by employing a target step length; performing, on the basis of the feature point and of the target box in the extracted frame, target box tracking in a current frame via a second thread to produce a target box in the current frame; and outputting the target box in the current frame. The method separates target detection and target tracking into two thread operations, where a detection algorithm does not affect the tracking frame rate, that is, even if a detection thread takes a long time, a terminal can still output a target box of each video frame; the method allows a target box of video frames to be outputted in real-time, thus increasing the degree of real-time and stability of target detection and tracking.
