Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a method and apparatus for determining carbon emissions on the basis of cloud resources of a public cloud, and a device, which method, apparatus and device are used for determining the carbon emissions of cloud resources. The method is applied to a cloud management platform, wherein the cloud management platform is used for managing infrastructure which provides cloud resources, and the infrastructure comprises a plurality of cloud data centers which are arranged in different areas. The method comprises: a cloud management platform acquiring a query request of a tenant, wherein the query request is used for querying the carbon emissions of a cloud resource belonging to the tenant; and then, generating and outputting a query result, wherein the query result indicates the carbon emissions which are generated by the cloud resource in a target cloud data center within each of one or more time periods. In this way, the implementation of carbon neutrality is facilitated.
