Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of communications. Provided are a method and apparatus for determining an initialization state of a scrambling code sequence, which can alleviate the technical problem of a plurality of communication apparatuses being unable to determine an initialization state of a scrambling code sequence corresponding to an extremely high throughput physical layer protocol data unit (EHT PPDU) according to a non-EHT PPDU. The method comprises: a receiving device receiving a non-EHT PPDU that includes a service field and is sent by a transmitting device, wherein the service field comprises a first field, the number of bits of which is m, m ≥ 1; and according to the first field, the receiving device determining an initialization state of a scrambling code sequence corresponding to an EHT PPDU, wherein the number of bits of the initialization state of the scrambling code sequence is greater than the number of bits of the first field.
