Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for determining polarization type of an antenna, and a base station. The method comprises: obtaining a mapping relationship between physical antennas and CRS ports of a base station; determining reference magnitudes corresponding to the physical antennas according to an uplink channel estimate value, determining reference magnitude differences between the different CRS ports according to the reference magnitudes and the mapping relationship, and determining an average value of the reference magnitude differences between the different CRS ports according to the reference magnitude differences, wherein the reference magnitudes comprise power values and/or phase values; and comparing the average value of the reference magnitude differences with a preset threshold, to determine the polarization type of an antenna of user equipment.
