Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for determining a relaxed state of a beam failure detection (BFD). The method is executed by a terminal, and the method comprises: in a multi-transmission reception point (mTRP) scenario, determining, on the basis of a predetermined rule, whether the terminal is in a relaxed state, wherein the relaxed state is a state in which the terminal can perform BFD relaxation, and the predetermined rule comprises at least one of the following: a low mobility criterion; and a good cell signal quality criterion. Here, in the mTRP scenario, it can be determined, on the basis of the low mobility criterion and/or the good cell signal quality criterion, that the terminal is in or not in the relaxed state, and compared with the situation where it is not determined that the terminal is in or not in the relaxed state, BFD relaxation can be performed on the basis of a determination result, thereby improving the reliability of wireless network communication.
