Abstract:
A method and apparatus for determining running region information. The method comprises: acquiring first information (101), wherein the first information comprises information of an initial running region determined in accordance with at least one image, and the at least one image is from at least one photographic module; acquiring second information (102), wherein the second information comprises radar detection information; and determining first running region information according to the first information and the second information (103). First running region information obtained by means of the method is fused with image information and the radar detection information, such that the accuracy is higher. When one of a photographic apparatus and a radar apparatus is inaccurate in detection, for example, when the photographic apparatus is in a shadow or in a covered environment, or when a laser radar is affected by the weather, and a vehicle-borne radar is affected by a noise signal, etc., the accuracy of first running region information can be improved by means of detection information of the other one, so as to ensure the safety of running a vehicle.
