Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for determining the safety of operation which can be carried out by a crane boom, and engineering machinery. The method for determining the safety of operation which can be carried out by the crane boom comprises: obtaining parameters of each cantilever in the crane boom, wherein the parameters include inclination angle, cantilever length and mass; determining the position of the complete center of mass of the crane boom and the position of the combined center of mass from an operating cantilever to the terminal cantilever on the basis of the obtained parameters; determining a safety determination basis direction vector on the basis of the position of the complete center of mass and the position of the combined center of mass; and determining the safety of operation which can be carried out by the operating cantilever on the basis of the safety determination basis direction vector.
