Abstract:
The present application provides a method and apparatus for determining a weighting coefficient during a stereo signal coding process. The method comprises: determining, according to a coding mode of a signal to be coded in a stereo signal and the correspondence between coding modes and parametric values, a parametric value corresponding to the coding mode of the signal to be coded; and computing, according to the determined parametric value and an energy spectrum of a linear prediction filter corresponding to an original line spectral frequency parameter of the signal to be coded, a weighting coefficient for computing a distance between the original line spectral frequency parameter and a target original line spectral frequency parameter. The computation of the distance between the original line spectral frequency parameter and the target original line spectral frequency parameter using the weighting coefficient computed by the method and apparatus provided by the present application facilities obtaining a more accurate result, thereby facilitating improving the coding quality of a stereo signal.
