Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for diagnosing bushing, in which even minor signs of abnormal rubbing of a bushing in a diesel engine are accurately detected. Waveform data indicating acceleration of vibration generated during operation of a bushing are detected. The acceleration waveform data are converted into a frequency-domain acceleration spectrum by means of Fourier transformation. Information on a plurality of peaks generated in the frequency-domain acceleration spectrum by a rotational frequency interval of a shaft being measured is quantified by performing predetermined signal processing combined with rotational frequency information of the shaft. A characteristic value is obtained and monitoring is performed as to whether the characteristic value obtained is greater than a predetermined threshold value. It is determined that an abnormality has occurred in the bushing if the characteristic value is greater than the threshold value.
