Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a method and apparatus for dynamically adjusting media capabilities. The method comprises: a media enhancement apparatus determining media information according to a code stream from a terminal, the media information comprising a conference scene, the levels of participants and network information, and the network information comprising bandwidth and delay; the media enhancement apparatus sending the media information to a media capability controller; and the media enhancement apparatus receiving a media capability adjustment policy of the terminal that is sent by the media capability controller, and adjusting the media capabilities of the conference scene corresponding to the terminal according to the media capability adjustment policy, the media capability adjustment policy being determined by the media capability controller according to media information or the service load of a network side device. Therefore, the media capabilities of a conference scene corresponding to a terminal may be adjusted according to the actual needs of different terminal conference scenes, which improves the audio and video experience of a user and reduces the network load.
