Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of communications. Disclosed is a method for establishing a call. The method is invented to resolve the problem in the prior art that an LTE terminal is unable to effectively provide a voice service. The method comprises: a terminal receives a first notification message, the first notification message comprising a first IMS incoming call notification message; the terminal establishes a first IMS call connection according to the first notification message and allocates a resource for the first IMS call connection; the terminal receives a second notification message, the second notification message comprising any one of the following messages: a Circuit Switch (CS) notification message, an indication message sent by a network side device, and a second IMS incoming call notification message; the terminal releases the resource occupied by the first IMS call connection according to the second notification message. The method for establishing a call provided by the embodiments of the present application is applied in the process of establishing a voice call by an LTE terminal.
