Abstract:

Disclosed is a method for fabricating an optical film which includes a processing step in which the lower surface of a film is brought into contact with the surface of a processing liquid fully filled in a processing bath while the film is continuously conveyed in a state in which both ends of the film in the width direction are held. The method for fabricating an optical film employs a small and simple fabricating apparatus, and is capable of bringing a film into contact with a liquid while the film is stretched in the width direction by means of a tenter method.
