Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for generating an extension symbol. The method comprises: determining an extension sequence according to an extension sequence matrix, the extension sequence matrix being generated according to performance parameters of multiple user terminals; and extending an initial symbol by using the determined extension sequence, so as to generate an extension symbol.
