Abstract:
The present application provides a method and apparatus for generating a low-density parity-check code basis matrix. The method comprises: constructing a mother matrix, a polygon element the number of edges of which is t being set on an (m-1)th row and an (n-2)th column of the mother matrix; determining q mutually-unequal typical extension factors according to the range of an extension factor; and generating a second to qth matrices one by one based on the mother matrix, the first matrix being the mother matrix, and the qth matrix being a basis matrix. By using the method, the apparatus and the device provided in an embodiment of the present application, because t matrix elements are set on an (m-1)th row and an (n-2)th column of a mother matrix, a node the degree of which is 2 in an irregular basis matrix of a lower-triangle structure can be eliminated from a finally generated basis matrix and a ring length feature of a check matrix formed by unfolding the basis matrix can be improved.
