Abstract:
Provided by the embodiments of the present application are a method and apparatus for generating a session description protocol message, comprising: calling a session description protocol message format, the session description protocol message format comprising a first field used for recording a first multicast source identifier and a second field used for recording a second multicast source identifier; acquiring a first multicast source identifier and at least one second multicast source identifier; and generating a session description protocol message according to the first multicast source identifier and the at least one second multicast source identifier, the session description protocol message being used for setting a valid multicast source. Therefore, a session description protocol message that comprises both the first multicast source identifier and the at least one second multicast source identifier may be generated, and then the multicast sources corresponding to the first multicast source identifier and the at least one second multicast source may be determined by means of the session description protocol message and set as valid multicast sources, thus enabling a channel, when receiving multicast code streams, to receive multicast code streams issued by different multicast sources, thereby improving fluency of the channel in receiving multicast code streams.
