Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for giving a reminder regarding sitting for a long time. The method comprises: collecting heartbeat data points of a human body; generating a pulse waveform according to the collected heartbeat data points; respectively calculating a blood flow velocity, the radius of a blood vessel, the velocity, the peripheral resistance of the blood vessel, the amplitude of each beat of the heart, a heartbeat gap, a heartbeat interval, a segmented cut point, a layered cut point and a timing sequence corresponding point according to the numerical values of the maximum value point, the minimum value point and a dicrotic notch point of the pulse waveform; carrying out normalization processing on the calculated numerical values to obtain stable state parameters; according to a correlation between the stable state parameters and a preset stable state grade, matching a stable state grade; determining whether the matched stable state grade is within a range for giving a reminder regarding sitting for a long time, and if so, sending a reminder regarding sitting for a long time to a person who has been sitting for a long time. According to the present application, whether a person is in a state involving sitting for a long time can be calculated, and a message reminder is sent to the people who are in the state involving sitting for a long time, thereby helping the person to manage his/her health.
