A fixture (80) for selectively locating and retaining hydraulic gerotor rotors (30) in position in respect to a grinding wheel (20), the fixture clamping the rotor between two oversized positioning rolls (84) located in rotor lobe valleys (32) on opposite sides of the rotor.
