Abstract:
A method for implementing Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) two-dimensional routing, comprising: negotiating with a peer routing device for a BGP two-dimensional routing sending capability and/or receiving capability; if the negotiation with the peer routing device for the BGP two-dimensional routing sending capability is successful, sending BGP two-dimensional routing to the peer routing device; and if the negotiation with the peer routing device for the BGP two-dimensional routing receiving capability is successful, receiving BGP two-dimensional routing sent by the peer routing device. By means of embodiments of the present invention, inter-domain two-dimensional routing can be implemented, the two-dimensional routing network deployment efficiency and network management efficiency are improved, and the network performance is optimized.
