Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for implementing system upgrading. The method comprises: comparing whether a current version system of a terminal is the same as a source version system when a server used for system upgrading comprises an available differential upgrade package; downloading the available differential upgrade package for system upgrading when the current version system of the terminal is the same as the source version system; and generating a combined upgrade package according to same parts and different parts of the current version system and the source version system when the current version system of the terminal is different from the source version system, and performing system upgrading according to the combined upgrade package.
