Abstract:
Provided are a method and an apparatus for incremental recovery of data. The method comprises the following steps: creating a current snapshot of the data (301); determining a data block in which the current snapshot changes with respect to the mth backup, wherein m is a positive integer (302), and the mth backup is not the last backup; and recovering the data corresponding to the changed data block into the data corresponding to a corresponding data block in the mth backup (303). The method and apparatu can improve the reliability of the incremental recovery.
