Abstract:
A method and apparatus for locking a bicycle. The method is such that: when a bicycle is in an unlocked state, acquiring the duration in which the bicycle has been in a stationary state; and if the duration reaches a preset duration threshold value, then activating a lock on the bicycle to lock the bicycle. Employment of the method and apparatus, insofar as the bicycle is in the unlocked state, by calculating the time during which the bicycle has been in the stationary state to determine whether or not to automatically lock the bicycle, obviates the need for manually locking the bicycle, thus making the locking process convenient and quick; also, the problem of bicycle loss as a result of a user forgetting to lock the bicycle is prevented, thus improving the security of the bicycle.
