Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application provide a method and apparatus for a low-power-consumption terminal to access a network, relating to the field of communications; when a large number of low-power-consumption terminals randomly access a network, time-frequency resources are coordinated and allocated by means of a base station, effectively preventing time-frequency resource conflicts. Comprised is: a low-power-consumption terminal in a first resource pool searching, according to a synchronization signal and broadcast channel of a virtual microcell sent by a high-performance terminal, for at least one high-performance terminal; from all high-performance terminals, determining a first high-performance terminal that must be used to access a network; obtaining configuration information by means of the broadcast channel of the virtual microcell of the first high-performance terminal, the configuration information comprising a second resource pool; by means of the resources of the second resource pool, sending a random access request to the first high-performance terminal, so that the low-power-consumption terminal accesses by means of the first high-performance terminal the network the first high-performance terminal has accessed.
