Abstract:

A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a ring-shaped composite oxide catalyst with high strength by preventing the composite oxide catalyst from being damaged when the composite oxide catalyst is extracted from a rotary tablet making machine with a scraper. In the method, a catalyst molded body molded by the rotary tablet making machine is extracted with the scraper 4 on a molded body extraction stage (D) of the making machine to remove the catalyst molded body from the making machine. The composite oxide catalyst is manufactured by using the rotary tablet making machine in which the scraper (4) comprises a damping material (14) with a Poisson’s ratio of 0.4 to 0.5.
