Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a material which is to be coated with a coating material and has a surface prevented from being contaminated. In the method for manufacturing the material to be coated with the coating material, the surface of the material to be coated is covered with a surface mask provided with a mask pattern having a penetrating corresponding portion where the coating material is to be applied on the material surface and a non penetrating corresponding portion for preventing the coating material from being applied on the material surface, and the coating material is jetted and applied from a jetting nozzle through the surface mask. In the method, the material surface is covered with the first surface mask, then, after applying the coating material on the material surface, the first surface mask on the material surface is removed, and the material surfaced is covered with the second surface mask for applying coating material.
