Abstract:
A method for determining a length set of a Zero-Correlation Zone comprises determining the length of a root sequence; selecting such a length set of a Zero-Correlation Zone that for any radius of a cell, the maximum preamble number determined by the length of the Zero-Correlation Zone which is selected from the selected Zero-Correlation Zone length set, is most close to the maximum preamble number determined by any length of a Zero-Correlation Zone which is selected from all integral sets, wherein the maximum preamble numbers are determined by the length of the root sequence and the length of the selected Zero-Correlation Zone. An apparatus,a base station and a mobile communication system are also provided. The present invention provides a technical scheme for selecting the limited set of better ZCZ length, thus reducing the overhead of the signaling.
