Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a method and an apparatus for monitoring the brake system of a vehicle in automated vehicle and highway systems. One embodiment of the present invention is a method for setting reference information that determines whether the brake system operates normally in the automated vehicle and highway systems, receiving information related to the brake of the vehicle, training a neural network on the basis of the information related to the brake, determining, on the basis of a result of the neural network training and the reference information, whether the brake system operates normally, and providing feedback to a user on the basis of the determination. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a user is notified of a replacement or adjustment request for a component related to the brake of a vehicle at the appropriate time so as to ensure safe driving of the vehicle. In the present invention, at least one from among an autonomous vehicle, a user terminal, and a server can be linked to an artificial intelligence module, a drone (unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)), a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, a device related to a 5G service, and the like.
