Abstract:
Provided are a method for monitoring a control channel in an unlicensed band and an apparatus using the same. In an unlicensed cell, a user equipment (UE) monitors a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) having burst control information in a search space defined in a control area of a subframe. The control area includes a plurality of control channel elements (CCEs) starting from index 0, and the search space is defined only in, from among the plurality of CCEs, the first four CCEs and the first eight CCEs.
