Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of smart homes. Disclosed is a method for network configuration. The method for network configuration comprises: a device to be networked sending, to a networked device, a first infrared signal for requesting WiFi information; the networked device obtaining WiFi information of an available networking hotspot; the networked device encoding the WiFi information to obtain a second infrared signal that corresponds to the first infrared signal and carries the WiFi information; the device to be networked receiving the second infrared signal that is sent by the networked device, corresponds to the first infrared signal and carries the WiFi information; the device to be networked decoding the second infrared signal to obtain the WiFi information; and the device to be networked performing networking according to the WiFi information. Using the present method for network configuration can improve network configuration efficiency. Further disclosed in the present application are an apparatus for network configuration, and a smart home device.
