Abstract:
A method and apparatus for numerically controlled drawing of the shape of a workpiece to be lathed on a CRT screen (F). In order to selectively draw the entire shape of the piece, or the shape of the upper half portion or that of the lower half portion on the CRT screen (F), the data (A) on the shape of the piece and the form of drawing (B) that requires for drawing either the entire shape, the upper half or the lower half are input. According to the form of drawing are found a scale value of drawing and center coordinates (C), (E) of the shape of drawing relative to the center of the CRT screen. The drawing is effected on the CRT screen (F) with the drawing shape selected by the data on the shape, scale values and center coordinates of the drawn shape.
