Abstract:
Disclosed in embodiments of the present application are a method and apparatus for operating a mobile device. A specific embodiment of the method comprises: in response to detecting an operation gesture, obtaining a video of the operation gesture; inputting the video of the operation gesture into a pre-trained operation gesture recognition model, to determine a type identifier of the operation gesture; determining, on the basis of pre-stored correspondences between type identifiers of operation gestures and operation instruction identifiers, an operation instruction identifier corresponding to the type identifier of the operation gesture; determining, on the basis of the video of the operation gesture, an operation area indicated by the operation gesture; determining, on the basis of the operation area and the operation instruction identifier, an operation instruction represented by the operation gesture; and executing the operation instruction. The present application allows for simplification of the process of operating a mobile device by a user by means of a gesture, and particularly facilitates reduction of the difficulty in operating a mobile device by a user suffering from visual disorder.
