Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for presenting a video image in a video call. The method is applied to a first terminal, the first terminal and a second terminal both having a video call function, and comprises the following steps: during a video call with the second terminal, performing the following steps for a captured first video image, each frame of which is based on a real scenario: identifying a foreground part of the first video image according to a pre-set identification rule; performing image fusion on the foreground part of the first video image and a pre-determined target pseudo background, and obtaining a second video image corresponding to the first video image; and sending the second video image to the second terminal, so that the second terminal presents the second video image to a second user. With the application of the technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present invention, the entertainment of a video call is enhanced, and the user experience is improved.
