Abstract:

The present application provides a method and apparatus for processing a flow table entry in a flow table. By comparing "a time interval between current time and first hit time at which a target flow table entry is hit in a historical process" with "a first interval threshold which is set in advance by a tenant corresponding to the target flow table entry in an application program and is suitable for the tenant corresponding to the target flow table entry" to determine whether to delete the target flow table entry in a flow table, a flow table entry corresponding to the tenant can be deleted in the flow table according to actual needs of the tenant, so that the situation that "the tenant still needs to subsequently make a network card use the target flow table entry corresponding to the tenant to forward data, but because the target flow table entry has been deleted according to the uniform aging time, the network card cannot obtain the target flow table entry and thus cannot use same to forward the data of the tenant" is avoided, thereby avoiding affecting the tenant to provide external services on the basis of the rented equipment, and avoiding complaints from the tenant. Therefore, the experience of the tenant can be improved.
