Abstract:
Provided is a method for processing a mixed material wherein second particles formed of a magnetic material or a non-magnetic material are mixed in a fluid medium which contains first particles formed of a magnetic material or a non-magnetic material. The method has: a dispersion step of dispersing an agglutinate, which is of the first particles and the second particles and exists in the mixed material; and a magnetic separation step of separating the first particles and the second particles from each other by applying magnetic forces at different levels to the first particles and the second particles by applying a magnetic field to the mixed material when the dispersion step is being performed or after the dispersion step.
