Abstract:

The present application provides a method and apparatus for processing a panoramic live video resource. The method for processing a panoramic live video resource comprises: acquiring a panoramic live video resource, the panoramic live video resource being applicable to a wearable virtual reality device; acquiring first detail information of the panoramic live video resource, and editing the first detail information to obtain first description data used for describing the panoramic live video resource; and delivering the panoramic live video resource and the first description data to a client corresponding to the wearable virtual reality device. By means of the present application, a user can obtain more real-time live videos, omnibearing full-viewpoint dome type viewing experience is brought to the user, and watched programs are not limited by geographical positions, thereby greatly improving user experience of virtual reality.
