Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for processing a reference signal. The method comprises: in an idle state or an inactive state, a terminal supporting a first reference signal that is indicated by first information, wherein the first information comprises a combination of one or more of the following: configuration information of the first reference signal that is obtained by the terminal by means of an RRC configuration message or an RRC connection release message; and configuration information, which is still valid in the idle state or the inactive state, in all configuration information or some configuration information of one or more reference signals configured in a connected state that is obtained by the terminal by means of the RRC connection release message.
