Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). A method of user equipment (UE) is provided. The method comprises receiving, from a base station (BS), configuration information indicating one or more of first sets of CSI-RS configuration parameters; determining channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) resources per frequency in a wireless communication system including a plurality of cells; and determining the first sets of CSI-RS configuration parameters for the cells, respectively, each of the first sets of CSI-RS configuration parameters including a physical cell identifier for the respective cell.
