Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of wireless communications, and provides a method and apparatus for processing a system information (SI) request, a terminal and a storage medium. The method comprises: sending an SI request to a base station in a current system information modification period, the SI request being used for acquiring at least one piece of first system information corresponding to the SI request; determining, in the next system information modification period, whether feedback information corresponding to the SI request returned by the base station is received; and if the feedback information is not received, stopping the SI request. The problem of waste of network resources due to that it makes no sense for the terminal to continue sending the SI request to the base station when the broadcast state of SI may no longer be valid in the next system information modification period is solved, and the utilization of network resources is improved.
