Abstract:

According to the present invention, a resin fiber having a diameter less than one micrometer is safely produced at low cost. A resin fiber production apparatus 1 is provided with: a plasticization device 10 that plasticizes a resin; a gas ejection hole 11a for ejecting a swirling stream; a nozzle part 11 in which a resin discharge hole 11b is provided for discharging the plasticized resin into the vicinity around the gas ejection hole 11a; and a gas supply device 14 that supplies the nozzle part 11 with a gas to be formed into a swirling flow.
