Abstract:
A method and apparatus for protecting a medium in a wireless LAN is disclosed. The method for protecting a medium in a wireless LAN may comprise the steps of: transmitting a CTS-to-self PPDU by an AP; transmitting a pRTS PPDU of a non-legacy format by the AP; receiving multiple CTS frames from multiple target non-legacy STAs through multiple channels by the AP, respectively; transmitting multiple data frames to the multiple target non-legacy STAs on the basis of DL MU OFDMA transmission through the multiple channels by the AP, respectively; and receiving multiple ACK frames from the multiple target non-legacy STAs through the multiple channels by the AP, respectively.
